Calling all Hackney hacktivists!

Are you passionate about Hackney? If you could make one change to the borough’s streets and spaces, what would it be?

We’re on the hunt for Hackney’s civic hacktivists – the most creative and inventive organisations and individuals, ready to make Hackney’s civic spaces the most vibrant in the UK.

The Hackney Hive has just launched on Spacehive to bring together and promote all the fantastically creative civic projects going on in the borough. And we want you to be involved!

If you want to help transform Hackney then upload your ideas today (click “add a project to our page“), and you can be part of the Hackney Hive. We’ve already seen the Hackney Play Bus hit its funding target, arts group The Decorators are producing a book about their pop-up on Ridley Road market, and The Yard are well on the way to keeping their theatre open all year round.

In such a creative and exciting area of London, we’re sure there are tons of project ideas out there raring to go. Yours could be the next piece of civic hacktivism to hit Hackney’s streets!
